Portfolio: Ab Initio

The Employee Lunch Signup Application was my first web-based application. was conceived by Ab Initio's CEO as a way to manage lunch ordering in a more organized and attractive manner than the paper signup sheets previously in use. The administrator, user and guess interfaces consist of approximately fifty Perl scripts which interact with a MySQL database. I was solely responsible for design, development, testing and documentation. This screenshot displays the administrator interface, which included functionality for managing menus, orders and staff balances.
